STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Australian Arab Business Council (AABC) is a dynamic and vibrant organisation that meets monthly to hear from expert speakers on issues of relevance to businesses. It is also a business referral and support network that can provide employment opportunities through its members and provide support to worthwhile community projects
BACKGROUND
The Australia Arab Business Council (AABC) is one of Australia’s most vibrant and distinguished domestic networking organisations. Since its inception in 2006, the AABC has strived to promote investment and trade between the Arab world and domestic business in Australia.
The AABC membership includes leading Australian small, medium and large businesses across a broad range of economic sectors. The AABC conducts monthly networking events to share ideas and engage with industry leaders and experts. The monthly event attracts the attendance of members and guests and is regarded as one of the largest monthly business gatherings in Sydney.
The Council and its members have a good understanding of local and Arab cultures, their economies and social structures and are well positioned to play a very important role in growing trade between Australia and the Arab World. The AABC therefore works closely with governments, associations and businesses as well as the Council of Arab Ambassadors to foster growth and build local and international trade and investment opportunities.
